Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Kathmandu(1300m)- Lhasa(3650m)
Fly Trans-Himalayan flight to Tibet(Gongaar airport). Drive to Lhasa – Full rest for acclimatization- Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 in Lhasa;
AM; Visit Potala Palace, PM Visit Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 in Lhasa
AM; Visit Drepung Monastery, PM; Visit Sera Monastery. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 Lhasa- Gyantse(3950): 261km
Drive to Gyantse- svia Yamadroke Lake and high passes: Karc la(5000m) & Kamba La(4794m) . Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05 Gyantse – Xigatse:(3900): 90km
AM: Sight – seeing in Gyantse including Phalkor & Kumbum Monastery etc. PM: Scenic drive to Xigatse(2hrs) through the typical Tibetan countryside. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 Xigatse- Tingri(4100m): 270km
Am: visit Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Pm: Drive to Tingri crossing over Gyatchu La(5220m pass). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 Tingri- Ronbuk(4980m): Aprox. 120km
Scenic drive to Ronbuk through the beautiful Tibetan countryside. Explore Ronbuk Monastery( Highest monastery in the world). Overnight at camp/guesthouse.

Day 08 Explore Everest BC(5150m): 8 km
Drive to Everest BC and explore BC with the highest peak right in front of you as if communicating with you in a spiritual language filling in you a kind of arrogance that you have been able to make it to the base camp of the Mt. Everest. Overnight at Camp/Guesthouse.

Day 09 Everest BC – Tingri:132km
Drive back to Tingri through the beautiful Tibetan landscape accompanied by the lingering impression of the highest mountain range of the Himalayas. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 10 Tingri- Nyalam(3700m)Zhangmu(2300m): 187km/219km
Drive to Nyalam/Zhangmu by over crossing the Lalung La pass(5050m) from where one can enjoy the magnificent view of the Mt. Cho Oyu(8201m) and Mt. Xishapangma(8212m) being dwarfed by the height of the Tibet itself. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11 Nyalam/Zhangmu- Kathmandu:155km
After necessary border formalities, scenic drive to Kathmandu through the beautiful countryside of Nepal(4-5hrs). Transfer to your Hotel.
